Welcome to HUG
We support anyone who needs help following the loss of a baby at any gestation.
During the current fight against Covid-19, prioritise your physical and mental health and that of your loved ones. Look after each other and stay safe.
We’re now working closely with Kicks Count. You can donate to them here, and read more about some of their recent fundraising here.

Here to help you cope with your loss
Meet Amy
Founder of Help Us Grieve
Like so many people, I have been through the horrendous trauma of losing babies. In 2013, I started working on HUG in desperation and anger that there was such little interest or time spare to support people through the physical, psychological and emotional trauma that we go through as parents for many months and even years after we lose our babies.
I have been on a mission to change things for every single one of us; mums, dads, siblings, friends and family, who are affected by the loss of our little ones. I am so passionate about raising awareness of baby loss as well as positive mental well-being, and our events have allowed us to do just that. This website is YOURS and the idea is that we encourage you to get in touch with us with your comments and experiences so that we continue to update and alter HUG so that it becomes the best that it can be.
To get in touch, you can email info@helpusgrieve.co.uk
After all, every experience and circumstance is different. At HUG, we understand your anger, frustration, pain and anxiety. We will do everything we can to help.
Lots of love to you, Amy xxx
P.S. My Granny Betty always used to say…
“Just remember kid, hugs are free…”
